Draft policy · review before launch
Refund Policy
This is a working draft for review before commercial launch. It is not legal advice and must be finalized with the seller’s chosen payment, delivery, tax, and customer-service process.
Digital-product nature
The Texas Homeowner Maintenance Kit is a digital download. Once a completed payment has been processed and the digital files have been made available, the product cannot be physically returned.
Proposed refund standard
Before launch, the seller intends to provide a reasonable, good-faith review of documented problems such as a duplicate charge, a technical delivery failure that support cannot resolve, or materially incomplete or corrupted product files. Requests must be made from the purchaser’s order email within 14 calendar days of purchase and include the order reference and a concise description of the problem.
Situations generally not eligible
- Change of mind after files were successfully delivered and accessible
- Failure to review the product description, system requirements, or license before purchase
- Expectations that the kit will diagnose, repair, inspect, guarantee, or prevent a home issue
- Requests arising from unsupported software behavior outside the stated compatibility guidance
- Requests for commercial, resale, rental-management, or multi-property use that the license does not allow
How refunds will be handled
When approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method through the checkout provider. Processing time may depend on the payment provider and financial institution. A refund does not transfer any ownership rights and does not authorize redistribution of the files.
Before release
This page must be updated with the final support email, governing entity details, effective date, applicable consumer-right disclosures, and the final payment-provider workflow before payments are enabled.
